About onCore UK events

onCore UK has a remit to inform, coordinate and develop cancer biobanking to enable research. A powerful way to inform and develop cancer biobanking is to organise and host events - conferences, workshops, discussion fora and courses - that provide opportunities for information exchange, consultation and education.

Events are organised on behalf of the NCRI Confederation of Cancer Biobanks (NCRI CCB), in collaboration wth other organisations or august bodies, or independently by onCore UK.

The staff of onCore UK also contribute on a regular basis to events organised by other organisations - public or private - to extend the opportunities to communicate with wider audiences.

Following our events, it is usual for us to publish the programme and any available materials provided by speakers (such as presentations or commentaries). We also strive to publish meeting summaries, reports or monographs where possible. These are usually free to download from this website.
